Please remove your site http://scripts.diabloowners.com/index.php within the next 24 hours. You are creating and distributing software with a purpose to circumvent our trademarks and copyrighted materials. You are violating U.S. Federal and state trademark and copyright laws.
If you fail to immediately remove this material from your site and continue to distribute it not only will we seek all legal protection under federal and state law your site will be added to the PbNation swear filter and you personally will be accorded the status of Ban on Sight on PbNation.
I would expect you to respond to this email within the next 24 hours stating you have ceased to distribute your software, destroyed the source code to produce copies and removed any and all PbNation LLC copyrighted materials from your web site.

I responded to this email as to exactly what was infinging on the copyrights of PbNation 30 minutes after it was sent, and have yet to get a response. I will update this page as soon as I get a response.
Update- 01/17/07 - 72 hours and no response. I find that pretty rude. I guess they just wanted the whole thing down, which is a success, but I did find some interesting things.
1. This page has a PageRank of 4. Not too shabby.
2. This page is the 5th (or 6th, I get different results depending if I'm logged in or not) result in a google search for 'pbnation'.
3. This thing spread pretty well right before the letter, being sent through email (one of the referres in the log comes from a comcast web email manager) and otehr methods. I'm assuming mods and admins. It was like they found some awesome hidden free pr0n site leaving nearly 500 lines in the log.

Anyways, guess that's it. I won't be making anything for PbNation again, and probably be on it much anymore either.
I only go on there because of a few users, not because it's a good or interesting forum.
I guess I'll start going to pbunderworld from now on if I feel the need for a paintball forum. I'll also probably work on my other projects, like PbBucket. Other than that, I'll be contstructive things with my life, instead of wasting it like I have been doing with PbNation.
Anyways, hope you guys have fun with whatever you do, just try not to waste a lot of your time in forums. There are much better things to be doing than that. You can make connections with people, but any little thing can force you to leave and you'll be forgotten about quicker than the time it takes me to not come up with a good metaphor. Go out and have fun or focus on your school work. You just don't want to look back and think of all the time you could've spent doing constructive things. Now, if you're using the forums to make decent scratch, I guess you can kinda ignore this, since that would be constructive, just hopefully you're making something eqaul or above minimum wage.
